Moss Agate is known to speed up recovery from illness. It is an anti-inflammatory, cleanses the circulatory and elimination systems, and boosts the immune system. It has assisted midwives for decades, lessening pain and ensuring a good delivery for the laboring mother. Moss Agate unlike its name, is not actually an Agate at all, rather it is a Chalcedony with dendritic inclusions of Manganese, Chrome, and/or Iron. Moss Agate will make a great host for connecting with nature (especially to the plant kingdom) and  brings balance the chakras, promotes spiritual growth. 

Red Moss resonates with the Root  chakra, making this a grounding stone to use during metaphysical practice.
